We recently decided to take a look at who our patients are and where they are coming from so we can best serve their needs. We found that the town with the largest percentage of our patients is East Aurora, with 28% of our patients hailing from the town. Following East Aurora is Elma, making up 19% of our patient population. West Seneca, Orchard Park, South Wales, and Holland all makeup almost equal portions of our patients at about 7% each. The largest percentage of our patients actually come from more distant areas of the Western New York region. We even have patients driving all the way from Grand Island and Tonawanda for their dental care!
Because we know many of our patients are traveling to get to us and have busy lives, we do keep evening hours to accommodate our working families as well as school-age children. For our large number of patients working across the street from us at MOOG, we are often able to accommodate them during their lunch breaks. We always do our best to make sure there is little to no wait so you can get back to work without delay.
Our report also showed us that our patients with and without insurance are about 50/50. We are happy to work with our patients' insurance companies to try and maximize their benefits and minimize their out-of-pocket costs. For our non-insurance patients, we keep our fees reasonable as well as accept CareCredit on larger treatment plans to remove the financial barrier to quality dental care.
