We hope all our patients, friends and family are staying safe during this scary and uncertain time! We want to give you a quick update on our office during this time in case you need us!
In order to help “flatten the curve” along with Governor Cuomo’s state mandate, our office is only seeing emergencies at this time. We hope to be back to normal operations soon, but an official date is yet to be determined.
In the meantime, if you are having a dental emergency such as swelling, severe pain, uncontrollable bleeding, or trauma, please call our office so we can figure out how to help you. Many emergencies we are able to handle over the phone and with antibiotics to help diminish any chances of spreading the virus, but if we cannot we will see you in our office.
If you need to be seen at the office for an emergency you will be screened over the phone for possible Covid-19 symptoms/contact with anyone who may be sick. Once arriving, we ask that you wait in your car until we escort you into the office. Your temperature will be taken with a forehead thermometer to ensure you do not have a fever and we will use the same high levels of personal protection equipment and sterilization that we have always used. We are adding in some additional protective measures such as wiping down all door knobs and hard surfaces in the reception area after each patient.
Please reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns. While our office may be closed for now our phones are still on! All calls will be returned within 24 hours and emergency calls will be returned as soon as possible.
